We invite you to take part in a series of professional webinars by the purple vest mission on different aspects on accessible emergency services.

For the past two years, Access Israel has been leading the “Purple Vest” mission—an international initiative aimed at advancing emergency accessibility preparedness for people with disabilities and the elderly population. The project is designed to offer crucial assistance to people with disabilities during emergencies, providing accessible information, evacuation options, accessible housing alternatives in protected areas, and more.

As an integral part of the mission, we provide  trainings for volunteers, residents, emergency teams, organizations, students, and others on accessible assistance during emergencies. Our training programs cover essential aspects of emergency accessibility, fostering a deeper understanding of the unique challenges faced by people with disabilities, and equip participants with foundational tools for offering assistance and maintaining accessible communication with people with disabilities in times of crisis.

This knowledge empowers participants to take initiative in supporting people with disabilities and the elderly during emergency situations.
